About us
A Swiss software engineering company, deliberately small, that hands over the source code of everything it builds.
What we do
MCDev Sàrl designs and builds bespoke applications for companies with a constraint that off-the-shelf software does not cover: a performance requirement, a particular hardware access, a demanding regulation, or simply the impossibility of letting their data leave the building.
We sell neither licences, nor subscriptions, nor consulting days. We deliver systems that work, with their source code, their documentation and everything needed to replace us.
Fifteen years of practice, around two hundred projects delivered and some fifty clients supported, in Switzerland and internationally.
How we are organised
A deliberately short structure. You talk to the person designing your system, from the first workshop through to maintenance. There is no project-management layer between you and the engineering, and we have no sales team: an engineer answers your first message.
Our skills span four areas, and most of our projects combine at least two of them.
Mobile and embedded
iOS, Android, macOS. Native interfaces, hardware access, inference running on the device.
Web and backend
Line-of-business applications, APIs, sovereign infrastructure on Swiss cloud or on your premises.
Artificial intelligence
Self-hosted models, document search with cited sources, evaluation and governance.
Immersive and 3D
visionOS, RealityKit, Gaussian splatting, augmented reality on iPhone and iPad.
Management
MCDev Sàrl is led by Mickaël Cruz, managing director and publication director. He still works on projects, which is the only way to keep a technical opinion worth anything.
The company is registered with the Commercial Register of Valais Central under UID CHE-267.146.081.

Some projects go beyond what a company of our size carries alone. We then work with long-standing partners whose work we know, because we have seen it in action.
BEELERgates, in Cudrefin, an independent Swiss firm specialising in the placement of IT specialists, active since 1998. DigitalBlend, in Toulouse, a studio for immersive experiences and 3D production for industry and e-learning, since 2011. LegalPark, a Swiss platform for tax lawyers, whose product we design and build.
Where we are
Our registered office is in Savièse, Rue du Stade 51, ten minutes from Sion. We work on site across Valais and the Lake Geneva region, and remotely for everything else.
